Naming the licensee company and publishing two licence numbers puts BongoBongo ahead of most of this market, and it is worth saying so on a page that is otherwise critical. Plenty of sites aimed at Ugandan players name no company at all, which leaves a player with nothing to look up and nobody to complain about.
Here is the limit on that, and it is the regulator’s limit rather than the operator’s. The NLGRB does not publish a searchable public register of licence holders in the way the Isle of Man or Malta do. There is no page where you can type NLGRB-CS-17-870 and see it resolve. So we can tell you the numbers are published, that they are structurally consistent with NLGRB numbering, and that a named company stands behind them. What the BongoBongo Licence Check Establishes

Treat Every Figure Above as Needing a Check
Promotional terms in this market change often and without notice, and we could not confirm these against the operator’s live promotions page. The direction of travel is clear enough: an archived capture of BongoBongo’s own home page from 1 February 2026 carried the sign-up panel “Sign Up & Claim Bonus — Get Up To UGX 190,000”, alongside a running Slot of the Week promotion. That headline is nineteen times the UGX 10,000 cap in the table above, so at least one of the two is out of date.
We are not going to close that gap with someone else’s numbers. Third-party Ugandan affiliate sites currently describe the BongoBongo welcome offer as 200%, as 100%, as a 50% free bet, as up to UGX 20,000 and as up to 200 free spins, in various combinations. Winboost is a multiple bonus: it increases the return on an accumulator that wins, in proportion to how many selections it carries. Same headline percentage, same multiplier, twice the work. A bonus described only by its multiplier tells you nothing at all, and one described without even a multiplier tells you less than that.

Check the Business Number on the Cashier, Not Here
Business numbers change, and a pay-bill number is exactly the detail that gets copied wrongly around affiliate sites and then repeated for years. Read 555881 off the operator’s own deposit page at the moment you pay, and never from a review, a screenshot or a message. Money sent to a wrong pay-bill number does not come back.
How to Withdraw Funds at the BongoBongo Betting Site
Withdrawals go back to mobile money, and the process is the same for MTN and Airtel:

The 15% Tax That Comes Off Before You Are Paid
This is the most important paragraph in the banking section, and it is missing from almost every review of a Ugandan betting site.
Uganda applies a 15% withholding tax on net player winnings, deducted by the operator before payout, in force since 1 July 2026. Operators separately pay 30% on gross gaming revenue. The practical consequence is simple, and it applies to every licensed Ugandan betting site, not only this one: the figure shown as your win is not the figure that arrives in your Mobile Money wallet.
Work it through before you plan around a payout. BongoBongo lists an Android App entry in its own site navigation, and the file is downloaded from the operator’s website rather than from the Google Play Store. Open bongobongo.ug, follow the Android App link, and install the file it serves.
Most guides stop at that instruction. It is the half of the story that matters least.
What Installing an APK Outside Google Play Actually Means
Android blocks installs from outside the Play Store by default, and installing a betting APK means switching that protection off. The check Google runs on a Play listing does not happen here. BongoBongo operates under two NLGRB licences held by Quick Venture Limited, and Uganda is a regulated market rather than a grey one.
The rule that catches people out is the age.
The minimum gambling age in Uganda is 25, not 18. It is among the highest in the world and considerably higher than the 18 that international betting guides assume by default. It applies regardless of your nationality, and whatever an app store, a bonus page or an overseas review implies.
